Senior Executive – Master Production Scheduling

Master Production Scheduling:
•Analyze the demand and supply balance at the product family and master schedule levels, validate sales forecast, determining out-of-balance conditions, identifying alternatives, and recommending action for approval and ensure optimal master schedule stability
•Maintain planned scheduling parameters, such as lead times, lot sizes, safety stocks, delivery times, and order file data for all master scheduled items. Review each master scheduled item at least weekly
•Prepare the data requirements and templates required for Sales & Operations planning and support Senior Manager Planning and MIS in preparing S&OP.
•Conduct rough cut capacity planning prior to publishing a master schedule in which significant changes have occurred
•Revise production schedules when required due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions, collaborating with management, marketing, sales, production, and engineering
•Balance the demand generated by sales team and the supply from the plants in the mix level (different products & customer orders)
•Assist and validate demand plan preparation process by sales and marketing. Compare forecast to actual demand and assist sales people in generating better forecasts. Work with all relevant departments to reduce internal lead times as well as lead times for MPS items.
Significant link between departments:
•Ensure that a common master schedule is used to drive all company priorities in manufacturing, marketing, sales, nutrition, and finance departments and link detailed material​/​y planning as well as financial planning.
•Take inputs from Sales & Operations Plan and give feed back on continuous basis.

Qualifications :
•Bachelors Degree in Management/ Science
•Trained in MPS Function
Experience :
•5+ years experience in MPS Function
Skills :
•Working knowledge of any ERP Systems
•Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS-Excel, MS- PowerPoint , (MS- Word) and MS - Outlook.
