To ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial budget and financial health reports for IDAC

• Facilitate the annual budgeting exercise in the SBU as a representative of Corporate Finance by preparing necessary budgeting templates, reviewing furnished data for logical consistency and by overseeing the consolidation of all the departmental budgets to prepare the consolidated budget for the business
• Support the finance manager in presenting the budgets to President for review and approval
• Provide necessary training and support to SBU departments on budget preparation and ensure logical preparation of budgets by the departments
• Create and maintain a dashboard to monitor the financial health of the business unit formed by aggregating the actual financial performance figures of Agro and Vet teams
• Compare actual performance of the business vis-à-vis budget on key financial parameters as and when mandated and prepare analytical reports as requested by Finance Manager and President
• Report on cost structure and highlight areas which require attention
• Prepare Balanced Scorecard based performance reports for IDAC for internal and corporate reviews

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/ similar qualification

Experience: 3 or more years of experience in a similar role
